Model rockets are essential carriers for exploring low-speed aerodynamic principles, whose aerodynamic shape significantly affects aerodynamic drag, flight stability, altitude, and duration. Although existing domestic and international studies have optimized rocket nose cones, fuselages, and tail fins, most experiments adopt single-variable designs and yield fragmented conclusions, lacking a standardized low-drag design system for homemade model rockets. This paper systematically reviews relevant literature to summarize the influence of different aerodynamic structures on flight performance and concludes the optimal structural parameters. The results indicate that a streamlined pointed nose cone, smooth slender fuselage, and four symmetrical tail fins can effectively reduce air turbulence and drag, thereby improving flight altitude and stability. This review provides reliable theoretical guidance and design references for model rocket production and aerodynamic optimization experiments.Rocket model
