Abstract

The new energy vehicle industry, as a fusion of high-end manufacturing and green development, has become an important breakthrough in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.This study aims to explore the research and application of intelligent manufacturing technology for new energy vehicles in the context of Industry 4.0, and to analyse the pain points and challenges in the process of digital transformation. By establishing a key technology system based on Industry 4.0 technology empowerment pathways, a series of intelligent manufacturing solutions for new energy vehicle production and research and development have been proposed. Optimise R&D and production through Digital Twin, enabling system modelling and parameter verification in a virtual environment to improve production efficiency and reduce energy consumption and emissions. Utilising artificial intelligence technology to achieve quality control throughout the entire life cycle, continuously improving product quality control standards and reducing the rate of defective products. In flexible production lines, exploring the combination of 5G networks and dynamic scheduling algorithms to optimise production processes through real-time data processing and analysis, thereby enhancing manufacturing flexibility. Taking the case of intelligent upgrading of battery factories of new energy vehicle enterprises as an example, this paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the technical challenges faced in the process of intelligent manufacturing and future development directions, summarises current technical bottlenecks, and looks ahead to the integration trends of cutting-edge technologies.
